Hello fellow reader! We're already halfway through and I suddenly decided to start a side quest. The side quest is to watch all Ghibli films starting with Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind to their latest The Boy and The Heron. So far it goes great. I discovered some old but gold titles.

Hello fellow readers! We meet again in 2026. This year, I'd still like to post wrap up of the books I read each month and highlighting some medias I consume. As a starter, in January I was on a bit of a reading slump. Usually, I'd pick up a horror or mystery book to revive my interest in reading. It worked. My reading is picking up the pace in the next month so I'm glad I did that. Here's the book I read in January.

December 2025 Wrap-Up & Favorites

I should have finished writing this wrap-up post weeks ago. I just couldn't get myself to start (lol). The month where I should have been more free at work, where I expected to read a lot more books. I got distracted by other things which I kind of regret investing my time to. If you know the truth, you'd laugh with me. So I end up reading one book only; A penguin archive edition nonetheless, which is pretty short. That's fine. At least later I realize what's going on with me and able to shift my focus into something that's worth my time.

I almost finish catching up to last year wrap-up post. Please bear with me a little. In November, I finally finished a tome which has been haunting me for months. Aside of its size, the book itself tells a difficult story with hard topic which doesn't make it even easier for me to finish. But I did! Here's all the books I read in November 2025.

After a careful consideration, I decided to just merge three months worth of post into one. Mainly because nothing much happened on the reading and watching front. I did experience a lot of changes at work, organizational change. I'm still trying to adapt and adjust my habit into the new work situation. I traveled to Japan in September, but I don't want to talk about it. It's not even worth to be in my favorite post *sigh. Anyway, I first drafted this post back in 2025. Hello and happy new year fellow readers! In 2025, I have a mission to finish those literal book stacks on my bed. Yes, I have book stacks ON my bed because I have nowhere else to put them. Those books won't be there if I read them already. I spent most of my 2024 trying to survive and stay alive (I'm not kidding but that's a topic for another day. When I'm ready to share about it) that I don't feel like having enough 'leisure time' to read even though that's one of the activities that gives me joy. So imagine how joyless I was. No more. The books I finished in January are books I started in December 2024 but didn't manage to finish. One is a holiday-themed fantasy book and another one is a short east-asian literature book. Can you see how desperate I was to complete my 2024 reading goal?
