Hi fellow readers! We're in the second half of the year now. I'm still on my Ghibli Side Quest so expect to see their films on my wrap-up. In July, I finished a book which I unexpectedly enjoy. Without further ado, here's the list of books I read in July.

Hello fellow reader! We're already halfway through and I suddenly decided to start a side quest. The side quest is to watch all Ghibli films starting with Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind to their latest The Boy and The Heron. So far it goes great. I discovered some old but gold titles.

May Wrap-Up & Favorites

Hello fellow readers! In the last wrap-up post I wrote that I was busy planning and researching for a trip. It's a two-weeks Japan trip in May. I didn't read anything because I was busy enjoying my trip (and watching films and series in between). This post will mostly be about my Japan trip.

Hi fellow readers! my April was filled with planning and researching since I was going on a trip in May. So I only read one book and it's a reread. I want to call it a comfort read but the title kind of makes me sound creepy if I call it a comfort. Let's leave it at that.

In the previous warp-up post, I said that I had a reading slump. So in February, I still try to pick up my reading pace by reading horror/mystery books. Lo and behold, I read more books than I expected.

Hello fellow readers! We meet again in 2026. This year, I'd still like to post wrap up of the books I read each month and highlighting some medias I consume. As a starter, in January I was on a bit of a reading slump. Usually, I'd pick up a horror or mystery book to revive my interest in reading. It worked. My reading is picking up the pace in the next month so I'm glad I did that. Here's the book I read in January.

I should have finished writing this wrap-up post weeks ago. I just couldn't get myself to start (lol). The month where I should have been more free at work, where I expected to read a lot more books. I got distracted by other things which I kind of regret investing my time to. If you know the truth, you'd laugh with me. So I end up reading one book only; A penguin archive edition nonetheless, which is pretty short. That's fine. At least later I realize what's going on with me and able to shift my focus into something that's worth my time.

I almost finish catching up to last year wrap-up post. Please bear with me a little. In November, I finally finished a tome which has been haunting me for months. Aside of its size, the book itself tells a difficult story with hard topic which doesn't make it even easier for me to finish. But I did! Here's all the books I read in November 2025.

After a careful consideration, I decided to just merge three months worth of post into one. Mainly because nothing much happened on the reading and watching front. I did experience a lot of changes at work, organizational change. I'm still trying to adapt and adjust my habit into the new work situation. I traveled to Japan in September, but I don't want to talk about it. It's not even worth to be in my favorite post *sigh. Anyway, I first drafted this post back in 2025. It's already 2026 so without further ado here's an update on the three months of my 2025.
