Hello fellow readers! we're onto September now. During the month, although I
didn't read many books, I read one which leave huge impression on me. It
becomes my favorite book of the year. Thanks to that book, I brave myself to
actually take actions to realize my childhood dream. Anyway, without further
ado, here are the books I read in September.
Books read in September
What You Are Looking for Is in the Library - Michiko Aoyama (★★★★)
This book tells the stories of five people who come from different
walk of life, facing challenges from different staged of life. What
connect these stories is, at some point, these people seek
enlightenment from books which they borrow from a library. The library
where they come to, is a public library in a neighborhood in Tokyo.
While looking for books there, they got some help from an enigmatic
librarian who gave books they think they're looking for and the ones
they're actually looking for. This book feels like a comforting
blanket, a warm hug. I can totally relate to some stories in this book
and feel comforted too. I legit got inspired to actually take action
because of this book. What You Are Looking for Is in the Library has
become my favorite book this year. I highly recommend this one to
read.

Goodnight Punpun Omnibus, Vol. 6 - Inio Asano (★★★)
With Goodnight Punpun, I'm almost at the finish line. This volume had
me on the edge of my seat because there's a shocking twist happened.
People from Punpun's past showing up and give bad influence on him. I
really wish that he would get out of whatever mess he's in because
he's been through a lot. He's not perfect, even sometimes annoying and
he makes me want to slap him. However, since we've been along him
throughout his life and we know how difficult his childhood was so I
feel like I should cut him some slack. Hence, my wish that it would
end well for him in the next volume which is also the final
installment of this manga series.

Film
The Two Popes
This film has been on my watch list for quite some time. I didn't know why I
didn't watch it sooner. This film makes me see the humanist side of two famous
figures. Though this film is dialogue heavy, it's not boring at all. In fact,
it's pretty easy to digest. I really enjoyed Anthony Hopkins and Jonathan
Pryce's performance. I recommend this film if you haven't watched it already.
That's all for September. I know September is already several months ago but I
still wish you had a great September.
