Hello fellow readers! This post is part of Top Five Wednesday, which is a weekly feature created by Lainey from Gingerreadslainey but now is hosted by Sam from ThoughtsOnTomes. More information about T5W is provided at its goodreads group page. This week's topic is five books you want to read before the end of the year. Most of the books that I will mention are part of my TBR. My goal for this year is to get my TBR down to at least 50, which is why I want to finish these books before the end of 2016.

#ReadThemAllThon Weekly Update & Wrap-Up

Hi! Hello! I know in my #ReadThemAllThon TBR I said that I would do a daily update, but it was too complicated because of the CP calculation. I still want to do readathon updates though. Because this readathon runs in 3 weeks and updates work as a motivation to me to keep on reading. I'll put my readathon progress in this post only to make it easier. Anyway, here's my progress.

#ReadThemAllThon TBR

Hi, Hello. It’s been a while since I last post a non review on this blog. I even feel like I’ve said that over and over before, but hey that’s really how I feel writing this. The purpose of this post is as my TBR list for The Pokémon Indigo League #ReadThemAllThon. Yes, you read it right, I decided to participate in a readathon. I’ve participated in readathons before, but I rarely officially signing up. Since I’m not busy this month (and the next month hopefully) so why not signing up? This readathon is hosted by readatmidnight and it will run for 3 weeks between 14th August to 4th September. What’s fun from this readathon is since this is inspired by Pokémon and (of course) Pokémon themed, each participant can choose one Pokémon with 10 CP as starting point. Every time we read 10 pages, our Pokémon will gain 1 CP. When we reach 150 CP, our Pokémon can evolve to the next stage and gain additional 50 CP. This Pokémon thing is not mandatory, but more detailed rules for the CP can be read on the original readathon page.

1939. Nazi Germany. The country is holding its breath. Death has never been busier.
Death has never been busier, and it will become busier still. Liesel Meminger's life is changed when, by her brother's graveside, she picks up an object, partially hidden in the snow. It is The Gravedigger's Handbook, left there by accident, and it is her first act of book thievery. So begins a love affair with books and words, as Liesel, with the help of her foster father, learns to read. Soon she is stealing books from Nazi book-burnings, the mayor's wife's library, and wherever there are books to be found. But these are dangerous times. When Liesel's foster family hides a Jew in their basement, Liesel's world is both opened up, and closed down.
Narrated by Death, The Book Thief is a story about the power of words and the ability of books to feed the soul. Award -winning author MARKUS ZUSAK has given us one of the most enduring stories of our time.
